Half-Day Meditation Retreat

Time: Sunday, April 23, 2023  9:30am-12:30pm PDT

Retreat Leader: Lucy Laoshi



This half-day meditation retreat is an opportunity to settle into our body, rejuvenate Qi (life energy) and develop awareness. The retreat is hybrid (with online and in-person options) and includes periods of alternating sitting and walking meditation along with mindful movements.:

  • warm-up exercises

  • four periods of 30 min sitting (the first period is guided and the other three are silent)

  • two periods of 10-min slow walking meditation

  • mindful stretching 

  • a short period of chanting and bowing practice at the end


If you have never attended a meditation retreat before or are not used to meditating silently for more than 30 minutes, please consider joining our weekly group mediation first.

Registration: Please register below by noon Saturday (4/22) to receive the zoom link and other instructions. 

In-person Participation: There is limited space at our location on Page St in SF.  If you'd like to join in person, please indicate that on your registration form and follow the covid safety protocols.
